Toys of Signal: Mystique!

Walk around almost any game development studio and one thing becomes clear almost immediately: we all like toys. They are a mark of pride, a conversation starter, help to establish geek cred and overall give you a pretty good insight into the person who sits at that desk. So let's see what decorates the desks of Signal Studios...Starting with Yesenia "Mystique" Cisneros!

What's your favourite toy on the shelf?: Red Halo Spartan. Halo 2 was pivotal in my life when I was attending Penn State University to become an Anesthesiologist. With the release of Xbox Live, this game changed how I interacted with gaming and created a virtual family for me. I was now able to play with people all over the world (and meet some!), which eventually jumpstarted my career in the game industry.

What was your favourite toy as a kid?: Growing up I always had a mixture of Barbies, and “boy” toys such as army men – they always got along in my fantasy world! When I wasn’t inside the apartment saving Catwoman and friends from a burning building, I was outside with my friends. My favorite toy growing up (if you would consider it a toy) was my Super Soaker! I loved going outside on a hot summer day, where my friends and I would chase each other around the block. I always felt like a bad-ass. The best part was when we would run out of water, and we’d go to the nearest fire hydrant (we weren’t supposed to) and fill it up.
