Signal Welcomes Its New Community Manager

This month we welcome Signal Studios’ new Community Manager, Becky Taylor!

She has been an avid PC gamer since early childhood and grew up playing games such as Baldur’s Gate, Lords of Magic, and Delta V. Now, she can frequently be spotted seen playing any game she can get her hands on, but especially prefers RPGs with FPS elements.

Her technical skills started young when she frequently would rebuild computers from parts that her father’s company had thrown away. She always strived to get the fastest computer possible, with a graphics card that could run games like Half-Life. During this time, she also started building walk-through websites by teaching herself HTML and CSS.

Later in life, Becky graduated from her University with high honors and a degree in Communications Media and concentration in Interactive Media. She then helped the school develop the first Game Design major at a public University in Massachusetts. Her friendliness, and knowledge of game design and development, made her a perfect candidate for Video Game Marketing and Relations.

After graduating, Becky started her professional career at Tencent Boston where she was a Marketing Associate on the Facebook Game Robot Rising. After the studio unfortunately closed, she moved out to Seattle to briefly work for Amazon before joining Signal Studios as the new Community Manager.

She is excited to start here at Signal Studios and looks forward to helping all of our players with any issues that may arise.
