Rune Combos sets/stacking?
The runes are enhances with a very straight forward effect.
The suggestion is:
- Runes grant additional bonuses depending on how many are socketed on equipped gear.
- Adding more runes of the same type will add new Rune effects.
- Certain runes of different types can be socketed to grant different effects.
- Possible glow effects with certain Rune Combo's.
ARMOR EXAMPLES.
Example, same type rune combo's:
- 1 Dark Resist rune = 25% dark resist.
- 2 Dark Resist rune = 50% dark resist + heal for 100 each time you block a dark spells.
- 3 Dark Resist rune = 75% dark resist + heal + purge all dark bleeds and dots.
- 4 Dark Resist rune = 100% dark resist + heal + purge + 50% chance to reflect dark spells back at caster.
The resist % is totals, not extra resist.
Example, same type rune combo's:
- 1 Armor Tower rune = 10% max armor.
- 2 Armor Tower rune = 20% max armor + heal for 100 on each melee block.
- 3 Armor Tower rune = 30% max armor + heal + parry all melee damage reducing melee damage by 20%.
- 4 Armor Tower rune = 40% max armor + heal + parry + thorns reflecting 50% of all melee damage back to attacker.
The armor % is totals, not extra armor.
Example, different type rune combo's:
- 1 Armor Tower Rune = 10% max armor
- 1 Armor of Dodging Rune = 5% dodge
- 1 Armor Rune of Health = 10% health.
- 1 Armor rune of Cure = 25% acid resist
- Grants a hybrid buff.
-50% dodge all acid attacks + heal when blocking acid attacks + increased melee armor on attacks from poison monsters.
Weapons are a bit different, all suggestions for them seems to sound overpowered.
WEAPON EXAMPLES.
Example, same type rune combo's:
- 1 Rune of Magic = 10% magic dmg.
- 2 Rune of Magic = 20% magic dmg + spell surge, 50% chance to gain another charge in the spell casted.
- 3 Rune of Magic = 30% magic dmg + spell surge + power overwhelming, 50% chance to cast another spell at no cost.
The % is totals, not extra.
Example, same type rune combo's:
- 1 Rune of Speed = 10% attack speed.
- 2 Rune of Speed = 20% attack speed + flurry, 50% chance to gain another hit with no animation.
- 3 Rune of Speed = 30% attack speed + flurry + while using melee attacks gain 50% dodge.
The % is totals, not extra.
Example, different type rune combo's:
- 1 Rune of Lightning = 5% lightning chance.
- 2 Rune of Flame = 5% fire chance.
- 3 Rune of Frost = 5% freeze chance.
- Granting a hybrid buff
-If one rune procs on hit, all runes will proc.
The % is totals, not extra.
