Suggestion: Adding more units the French

One of the things I liked the most about Toy Soldiers, besides the fact that was one of the few games set during WW1 and that it is fun as heck, was the incredible amount of aesthetic detail and historical accuracy of the machinery. All the units were very thought-through, and it featured very little known enemies, such as the P.K.Z-2, or the Boirault (P) 2, without mentioning our all time favorites, like the Big Bertha or the Whippet.

So, when the Kaiser's Battle came out, and most of the French units were repainted British-ones, it was kinda of a let down. The game was still extremely entertaining, but it seamed like the detail I liked so much was rather lowered.

I don't know if there are any possibilities of remodeling them, or if I'm just asking for too much, but at least I would be really thrilled to see the French with their own units.

Here I leave a list of proposed units. I still lack AA and AI (Machine-guns). If everyone could contribute I would appreciate it.

I'd love to see more historical French units. Even though I consider myself a bit of a First World War buff, Toy Soldiers made me aware of some weapons I had no idea existed! And that kind of dedication to history (as well as creativity and fun) is one of the things SS got very right with the games!

I'd love to see the Livens Flame Projector make an appearance as a barrage, if they make it into TS:C. For those who don't know, Livens created a whole range of nasty unique weapons for use on the Western Front, and the Flame Projectors were massive, complicated giant flamethrowers. Sappers dug their way out under no mans land and the projectors were assembled in the underground chamber. When the time for the massive push on the Axis lines came (I forget which battle) the flamethrower head was pushed up out into the open and gouted a massive stream of fire over the German trench line. There was a BBC program where archeologists actually dug up one of the tunnels used. Then the British army RECREATED the monsterous device and fired it.

Oh another Barrage would be setting off a massive underground mine. Some FOOLISHLY large ones were set off under the battlefields of Belgium, to the point where the explosions were heard in England, and the resulting craters actually hindered the Allied assaults.

Ooo thanks! We probably won't add much more in this game.

However, we might have some stuff in store for the future of the Toy Soldiers' franchise
