Anyway, I just got to the first Apex. Smashed my face for a long time before giving up. It's beyond "difficult" to take on that apex with curses being thrown at you constantly too.

Acting rude to a person trying to help is not the best way to go, and how was he "covering up" anything?

You can block 90% of the attacks thrown at you, but you have to learn what to block and what to dash away from, or the game will end up being very difficult.

Thank you for sticking up for me first off....I was not trying to cover up anything in fact im 219 for souls gained for two days hats not bad, I'm on my Third Apex they are really easy just Finnish off the wolves when you get low health. I've got down most blocking as well as animations for most monsters as a player of both Vindictus and Tera I've learned to watch everything monsters do i just would like to see shields in the game it would make sense just to add more armor or even add weapons that have a shield for cosmetic looks like you would if you dual wielding weapons.

Sean I see you in game alot mostly around the ring of bones at least i think its you xD thanks for all the blessings too, Even though i cursed you alot lol

Well Technically but i mean from the start tutorial and everything trying a new combo of skills and gods you choose as you ascend. Ascension you cant go back to level 1 gear and retry the everything. I died alot when i first started playing putting me really behind in souls even though i did spend hours and hours farming mobs to get souls and xp. I would also like to see shields there are one handed weapons so it only makes since to have a shield that can take a heavier hit then a normal block.

Once you Transcend, you will start over at level 1. The only things you will get to keep are you emblems and souls when you do. That is the only way to get a fresh start in this game. Shields have also been suggested before, it always seems to pop up in the threads on bows.

I have made no attempts to cover anything up, I am sorry that you feel that I am.

The first apex isn't that hard, harder compared to most of the enemies in the game yes, but is fairly simple to kill once you figure out how to correctly fight. Watch the motions of the Apex, and watch out for the curses. If you are having so much trouble, then go ahead and take it slow and careful. I admit the very first time I played this game it took me like 3 hours to kill the first Apex. Now on a run through it would only take bout 5 minutes at the most.

Oh....ok so when you Transcend you start back over at level 1 you lose all your gear but you get another legacy pillar for free and you also get to keep your emblems and souls. Do you have to re-ascend every 5 levels? I just beat Kul so im just farming now so at the news of this i cant wait to get the last 25+ lvls to transcend
