I've got some fears going, that I'm hoping some has clearance to respond to now: Will Ascend and Toy Soldiers Cold War require Windows 8?

Ascend is only currently announced for the Xbox 360 currently and TS:CW will not require Windows 8 when we get that would for PC.

Yes, that game is pretty good! Honestly, I was not expecting to like it so much when it first came out but I loved the sidescroller gameplay.

It's one of the best arcade games I've ever played. According to Cliffy B a sequel was in the works. http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/17/bl...d-and-sitting/.Looks like it'll never come out though, at least Flashback is out on the 21st, looks pretty good, even includes the original.

Pokemon Red/Blue, Yellow, Gold/Silver, & Emerald
My first RPG, holds a special place in my heart. Hours of gameplay, strategy, earning (and cheating) seemed to go all too quick until I finally caught 'em all.

Super Smash Bros. Melee
I could face off against Nintendo's best with Mewtwo! I was good too.

Halo Series ( Reach Especially)
Received for Christmas one year was a special edition Halo 3 XBox 360, with the 2nd & 3rd installments as complementary gifts to go with it, I have since been a die-hard fan of the series. Master Chief has always been a thrill to play, but when Reach was released and you could customize your own Spartan, I had to get the Special Box set version complete with the journal and other goodies. Most likely my favorite next gen game to date.

Star Wars: Force Unleashed
Starting off as Vader in an no-holds barrel was a decent start to an unforgettable game. When the Sith Edition steel box was released I even bought it a second time to play through. The story, characters and overall exciting gameplay all sums up to a near perfect game. The only disappointment to this game is the underwhelming sequel, and the undelivered third installment I was desperate to play to see the ending of Starkiller.

Star Wars: KOTOR I & II
While the first game had the Reven surprise, it was the sequel's atmosphere and story that really shined for me. The customization and freedom of these Star Wars RPG's will always been considered great, regardless if believe in the force or just call it luck.

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter
Play as Jango Fett and hunt criminals across the galaxy far, far away? Hell yes. Wish they made a decent Boba Fett version to complement, but this game on it's own is a true personal classic. Also brought back respect for the Fett legacy after Lucas nearly butchered it in Episode II (post-Jaster Mereel extended universe fan talking).

Fable: Lost Chapters
Very fun, simple, and addictive, and I can still pull out this game and enjoy the RPG as much as I did when I first started playing.

Predator: Concrete Jungle
My favorite Predator game, will always bring out the hunter in me.

Spider-Man (PSX)
While not exactly a free roam environment like the more recent games, the first Spider-man on my PSX was the most fun I have ever had playing with as the webslinger. The fact that the game drips in comic book nostalgia moreso than any other game, movie or cartoon helps as well.

HULK (PS2)
I stayed up many a school night to beat this game and find all its secrets. Destruction and power-ups all kept this movie game addicting. Despite no recent endeavors as Marvel's Strongest Hero, it was certainly a blast to play.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess
If you have completely played through any of the two N64 games and are not a fan, then you're a prune. Many hardcore fans rate Majora's Mask as the better of the two, and it's not hard to see why.

The more recent Twilight Princess has also given much hours of enjoyment and beckons yet another complete playthrough as the blue-eyed wolf alongside Midna.

Crash Bandicoot: Warped
Classic and fun, one of the first I had to beat without cheats, and taught me the value of fruit earned tasting much sweeter. That, and finally beating Cortex was almost pricelessly hilarious.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes
Brought the amazing gameplay of Street Fighter, with the Heroes of Marvel has cemented this game in my collection, and to date I am still unbeatable with War Machine, Dr. Doom, and the Sentinel. Team TEK for the win.

Chess
I may not be the best or fastest player to grace the boardgame, but I can't tell you how booksmart I feel when I play on my phone.

Plague Inc.
This new android game might not be the flashiest on the list, but it is so much fun to infect the world with a homemade virus, that the idea of it not being made sooner is almost beyond comprehension.

Peacekeeper (When they finally finish fixing the bugs)
"Suck peace you violent ruffians!" I wanted to beat this game so badly, but until they make a version that doesn't turn all the screen characters invisible when you reach the later levels, I can't give it the title of THE perfect Android game.

City Of Heroes / Villains / Going Rogue
My first online RPG was the closest thing I had to creating a real comic book. I have yet to play a game the has kept me glued to the screen longer, regardless of having stayed up all night playing and needing to be at work in 2 hours. For the sake of my job, I had to quit cold turkey, it was the hardest video game addiction I have had to give up. I was very sad to hear about the ending of the online RPG a few months ago.
