With the holidays quickly approaching, everyone is out and about trying to find that special gift for someone near and dear to their heart. Traffic gets a bit more intense, people are stressed out, and that ultimately leads to grumpiness (Grumpy Cat agrees).

With all the chaos that has become the “holiday season", it is easy to forget the real reasons why we enjoyed them in the first place. Whether it was the movies you grew up watching, or just the awesome vacations and gatherings you had with your family – it’s buried deep within this black hole of hysteria.

Hello Signal fans! Congratulations on surviving another year and proving the Mayans wrong. We hope you were able to accomplish all of your goals and were able to experience many awesome things!

It's about time we start thinking about our New Years resolutions as we move forward into 2013. It's been quite a year for us here at Signal. I won't bore you with the gritty details cause let's face it, in this day-in-age who likes to read anymore?

What are you looking forward to in 2013?

This month I will have the chance to sit down with our fearless leader D.R. Albright III and our lead designer, Ian Scott. You'll get the chance to find out how they got started in the industry as well as answer any burning questions you may have for them!

They will be able to answer any questions you may have about Ascend or maybe you just want to know what they got for Christmas...the possibilities are endless!

Please submit questions for Ian by no later than January 10th, 2013 and for D.R. by January 24th, 2013

Hello. I have been a fan of the toy soldiers series for years and I do understand you announced your new game, but can we look forward to some confirmation of a new toy solders in development?

Ian - What kind of mood are you guys creating in Ascend? What can you honestly say will stand out the most?

Hey, thanks for giving us the chance to do this. It's always nice to see a dev studio who pays attention to the fans, and you guys are no exception.


I would like to know which coding language you guys primarily use. I'm learning C++ right now and I'm always interested to see what professionals choose to work with.

What are you most excited for in Ascend?

Hi there, I would like to know how to get into the business of being one of the guys who is in the game making progress such as you, someone who does not just develop the graphics or an artist, but someone who decides on weaponary, armour etc, like a historical liaison who tells you what is right and wrong about the content, what you should include, researches etc, if such a thing exists of course!
