Let me start off by saying that my only intent is to be helpful. And I apologize that the first post here may appear negative.
I downloaded and played the demo for Toy Soldiers on the XBOX 360 this morning and played through it twice. I enjoyed nearly everything about the game.
My complaint is with the controls.
I suppose I could get accustomed to aiming with the left thumbstick, even though every other popular shooter in the world uses the right thumbstick for aiming. Perhaps later in the game, or in the full game, there are controls where this makes sense and the left thumbstick was the only viable option. I could most likely learn to deal with that.
What I can’t deal with is the lack of being able to invert my aim for the sniper tower. I realize that I may be in the minority that inverts their controls, but when I attempt to play as a sniper it feels like I am drunk. On top of trying to aim with my right thumbstick instinctively (and instead zooming in) I try to aim up and instead I aim down, making it nearly impossible to target anything.
I would have bought this game and I bet other people like me would too. As it stands I can barely play it and don’t feel like retraining my hands to do the opposite of what nearly every other game does.
I hope I don’t sound too negative, I am simply trying to provide some feedback to your game, which I hope can help you improve the experience and make you more money.

I believe that video games can teach and this game is not only entertaining but informative. After playing this game I have learned so much more about World War 1 than I did before and I had a blast (literally). This game is one of the best I have ever downloaded.
i think you guys did a great job with this game i bought it within 5 minutes of playing the demo…a couple suggestions for future updates on the game though. i would say more variety in the online versus and also if you could have 2vs2 online i think that would really spark some more interest in the online. anyways thanks for making such a great game.
ps. my friend, GamerTag is “Travitar” he really wanted this game but he doesnt have the money to get it so if you could help him out im sure he would greatly appreciate it.
This game is downright fantastic,I very much enjoy flying the Fokker triplane,along with the other features as well,both campaigns where great,I’ve already suggested the game to several people all of which have also been enamored by it and have either purchased it immediately or said they wanted to get it soon,I have one friend,Ben,”shockwave11293″ who is,much like myself,very interested in in history and was saying how much he liked the game for both game play and how he finally could play a WW1 game,unfortunately it will probably be around two months before he can actually buy it,so I am going to enhance my skills and then it will just be senseless killing when we play multiplayer,which is another good feature,although I do not like split-screen,but the Xbox Live is fun,my gamertag is “Night Father”
Great game guys. Hopefully you guys plan on some extras like maps and such. A lot of game devs drop an awesome game and then leave it to dry. This game I see myself playing for a while.
Only complaint. Man the disconnects. Only time I get em is when there is planes being used. Fix maybe? Great game thou and hopefully you can get the bugs fixed before to many people are turned off by it
Brilliant game, I must say. However, the lack of Co-op Survival Mode is a bit of a downer. Oh yeah… is there any chance for a list of what songs are used in this game? I just love old timey music like this, and I’ve searched far and wide as to which song they might be, but no luck!
I thoroughly enjoy this game; it’s hours of entertainment. I would like a little more customization though, especially when I go back and play maps I already beat. But to be honest, I kinda suck at shooter games, and I play on casual level, and that can even sometimes overwhelm me to the point where I simply can’t beat certain levels (though I’ve tried countless times).
It would be nice to choose to start with a little more money, or for each wave of enemy units to be a little less rather than simply allowing my weapons to do more damage or make more money. After all, that still requires me to hit all the targets!
This game is great fun! But I’ve played some levels over 25 times and always get bull rushed. Just my thoughts/experience.

Toy Soldiers is definatly THE best XBLA game so far! Its simply brilliant! But it might be a good idea to address the connection issues for Multiplayer very SOON!. Its impossible to play more than 2 minutes before being disconnected! My suggestion is that someone from the Dev team gets on the Toy Soldiers forum at Xbox.com with a “status report” on these issues since many members find this issue to to be a “deal breaker”. It would be a shame if this title got a bad rep in the Xbox community because of this…

Amazing game guys played the trial and ran to my local store to buy some Microsoft points already suggested to many of my friends most have bought it except Aj who cant afford it at the moment thank you for the awards aswell.And survival mode damn you guys are evil i build a base to have it blown up by the rail tank brilliant fun. Any words on a co-op survival or 2v2 online ?

I was really pleasantly surprised by Toy Soldiers. I’ve never played a solid WWI game before. Apparently there’s nothing more fun than mowing down waves of enemies with a machinegun-who would’ve known?

I really would like an option to change the sniper tower aim to inverted. There are a couple maps where not being able to snipe cavalry is keeping me from getting 20/20.
Love this game (can’t stop playing it), one of the best I’ve played. Find the Elite mode, Survival and Ration Tickets a good challenge. Hope there is some DLC eventually. I love the music too – I would love to know what it is so I can buy it

It’s an awesome game but Co-op survival would really make it more enjoyable especially because im playing this with my little brother…he doesn’t like getting beaten so would be great to be able to cooperate instead.
I would love this game except that 99% of the time when I go to play private matches with friends we get disconnected. What is up with that? Will you be patching this huge black eye soon? It seriously is making me hate this potentially fantastic game.

Firstly have to say I have loved this game from the first trailer but am disappointed that I will be unable to play it, due to it being only Xbox.
But I would like to know if you had any plans of making ports to other consoles.
I pray that it does come over to PS3 wanting to play this fantastic game.
