Wahooooo! Can’t wait. Totally awesome! Great job Signal. I can’t wait to get it. Looks like fun. I hope the multi player maps are cool.

  2. Brandon says:

Im awake at 3 in the morning waiting for this to come out, thats dedication. i want this DLC so badly.

  3. TP4myBung says:

mini campaign? only Three new single player levels….

Not sounding that great, how many new campaign mission in total?

  4. Manny says:

Wow! Now that’s what I call WWI. This update blows the regular game away! I was overwhelmed at first. Huge maps. Excellent characters. SS nailed the French to a tee! The enemy waves are huge, like WWI would be. You have to move fast and think because things get tough quick. Talk about cavalry! 35 horse charges! All three maps are excellent! Who ever thought of the K Wagon is very shrewd. Just when you thought you beat it…

As for survival, I didn’t even make it past Round 1. Intense! Haven’t seen the multiplayer maps yet. Great job Signal. This was definitely worth the wait and I can tell you listened to many of our suggestions.

I wish y’all would go in and tweak the original game and multiplayer to give more soldiers, etc., in quantity for each wave. That would be the icing on the cake and make this game a 12.0 out of 10!

I appreciate the humor of this game. Not only does it make you laugh, it really sparks your interest in the Great War. That in unto itself is important because WWI did more to shape the 20th Century and future generations than any other generation in history. It’s amazing how little attention the conflict receives by historians, however, most if not all the conflicts and modes of peace after 1918 can be rooted in this great conflict.

I don’t have facebook or twitter, so hopefully Signal you will see this and consider me for a t-shirt. I’m your number one fan because I use your game to educate, not just entertain. Good show!

Thank you! This is the best Xbox game, end none!

    Manny

  5. Manny says:

    Oh, I forgot…

I nearly fell out of my chair on the second map, when the French Captain began running towards my toy box from the far side of map, being chased by the Germans, only to turn around and whack them over the head with the French Bread and kill them. Pure insanity! Thanks Signal for the great laugh!

  6. Hectore says:

Did you fix the multiplayer issue?

  7. Manny says:

On map 2 I love the French Soldiers break dancing. It’s a hoot! Anybody got a cigarette?

  8. manny says:

    Hi Signal,

Thanks again for the great game. I love it!

We need the Cossacks and the Kommissars! To the Russian Front with you!

  9. Tribalbeat says:

    Excellent game Signal!

Will we ever see a form of Co-op survival though?

I agree with manny about the Russians. That would make a most interesting DLC.

  10. Nikos says:

Hello, firstly have to say well done on a fantastic game and DLC. Only I am disappointed that I cannot play due to it not being on the same Platform. Signal Studios are you planing to to release this game onto the PS3. I am hoping, so I can get a chance to play this great game. Thanks Signal Studios and keep up the great game making.

    Regards

  11. Kaiser says:

The new DLC was an excellent addition to the game I should say. The French army was well portrayed and historically accurate in their portrayal, and the levels, though few in number, were great (and a challenge of the mind I might add). I would like to, once again, say that the clencher for this game, and for most xbox live buyers, is the fact that you are simply limited to a one on one match, where as a two on two match would make this little game skyrocket in popularity, and that, my friends, is fact; Quite a few of my friends online have this game, and they all share my opinion. I simply wish to give you a heads up on the matter and I sincerely hope that you will take my proposition into account

    Thank you

    Hello all of SignalStudios.
Thank you for this great DLC ‘Kaiser’s Battle’. I already got and playing it everynight :-)
Unfortunatery, It was not included an additionals abotu “Co-op Mode” in this pack, but we still keeping hope it would be played in next DLC, and we want to play with more more new maps, too !!

    By the way,
Can you examine that ToySoldiers would sold by ‘Packaged Version’ with renewal MAPs , new some wepons, new game mode, on other war, and more in a future ?

Please be convinced that you accomplished a great achievement with this ToySoldiers !

  13. Manny says:

    Hi Signal,

I’m sorry that I have to post this but I feel a little cheated at the opportunity to win some of your contests that you hold. I don’t participate in Facebook or Twitter for various reasons, however, I and others who like me, support Toy Soldiers not only on your web-site but on Xbox Live forums as well. Why aren’t we given the opportunity to win the contests? Are we the red headed step children of Signal? Not whining, but not everyone goes to the same watering hole for their drink.

Thanks for the great game. Keep it up. Can’t wait for the next DLC. Hopefully it is the Russians. Then comes the Yanks!

Toy Soldiers 2 with a WWII theme would be excellent! When I was a kid, I played with Marx’s Fort Navarone where you had to blow up the infamous German guns. Yeah, I know it was based on the movie, but to have your toy soldiers storm the mountain, infiltrate the caverns and blow up the guns would be awesome! Toy Soldiers landing on the beaches! Yeah man!

  14. Sam says:

    Hey,

So I downloaded the new piece of DLC upon release, finishing it and earning all the achievements without realising they weren’t counting towards my total Gamerscore. I’m aware of what causes this glitch and have experienced it before, but whenever the Xbox.com achievement list has been updated I have always been able to recover my account and regain the achievements, however this isn’t the case with Toy Soldiers. I have re-earned the “Land Ship” (Defeated the K-Wagon) and “Grass Cutter” (Earned a 40x blast combo) achievements, however after re-collecting the golden cubes and meeting the achievement criteria for: “Base Rat” (Find all golden cubes) several times, I have had no luck in gaining it; I’ve also tried clearing my system cache and retrying again, but no joy.

As somebody that strives to gain 100% achievements/completion from all my games I’m sure you can understand my frustration. This mishap has unfortunately left a sour taste in my mouth, which is a shame as otherwise I have thoroughly enjoyed the game and DLC. I thought I’d bring this to your attention so you could consider a fix in a future patch, or even suggest a fix I can try myself.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

    Sam

  15. Swing says:

I think you need to take care of the losers on multiplayer matches from just disconnecting. You guys should make it an automatic loss if somebody disconnects.

    • Manny says:

To this end I agree. Right now, if I am able to tell it was a disconnect because of their being a sore loser, on the stat screen I pull up their gamer tag and give them negative rep points for quitting early. I word is getting around who are the quitters and so they won’t have anyone to play with. Although the players can tell who quit by disconnecting, I’m not so sure that Signal’s engine can determine the same. I’m afraid that you’ll just have to chalk that game up to a learning experience and move on.

  16. Manny says:

This is so sad. I can’t play multi player anymore. I start a match sync’d and then all of a sudden it’s like I’m playing a phantom third person and so is my opponent. This is happening in either private or on-line random player games.

I WANT MY TOY SOLDIERS BACK!

What is happening? Are you aware of this Signal? Is a fix coming?

    Please oh please!

  17. skyler says:

i think the next should be the americans after all we were in the first world war and also i agree with the russians a little

  18. skyler says:

it would be really cool if u could be a toy soldier

  19. Adam says:

Hello Signal, I love your game and the DLC hoping for more to come. I really enjoy playing with friends, but can only do so effectivly on split screen. I like many expierence many problems playing over Xbox Live. Can we expect a solid fix to this in the future, or is this just how it has to be?

Sorry to be a downer, that is my only complaint.

    Thanks Signal Studios!!

  20. PanzerV Panther says:

Thanks for what can only be truly regarded as a classic game I have always looked froward to a game based in the first world war and hope more DLCs will be coming out soon. I thought the Kaisers battle captured the final great offensive of the first world war in great detail massive waves of infantry tanks artillery etc but i thought the survival mode was epic 15 minutes is the longest i held out and no matter how hard i tried i could not beat it i hope we see more hopefully on the eastern front or maybe do the battle of amiean were you play the role of the americans or redue the Verdun offensive as the french.

    Thanks for the great game.
